If something goes wrong with an agency

What we can do, what we cannot, and the routes that genuinely exist — without sending you to a platform that has closed.

Your contract is with the agency, not with us

We introduce; we do not plan weddings and we never handle your money: nothing you pay an agency passes through us. We are therefore not a party to the contract, and we can neither cancel it nor refund you in the agency’s place.

First step: write to the agency

In writing, describing what was agreed and what is missing, with a date for the reply. Most disputes end there, and a written exchange becomes your evidence if it does not. Keep the contract, the quotes and the messages.

What we do

If the introduction went through this site, write to us: we contact the agency, ask for its side, and tell you what it says. If our rules were broken — a misleading displayed price, expired insurance, a manipulated review — the profile is corrected or removed, and the agency is told. What we cannot do: decide who is right, or obtain a refund.

In Switzerland: the conciliation authority

Before any civil lawsuit, Swiss law requires a hearing before the conciliation authority of the defendant’s municipality (art. 197 of the Civil Procedure Code). It is fast, inexpensive, and you can appear without a lawyer. At the claimant’s request, that authority can itself decide a dispute up to 2,000 francs (art. 212), and propose a judgment up to 10,000 francs (art. 210) — a proposal that becomes final if nobody objects within twenty days.

In France and the European Union

Any company selling to consumers must appoint a consumer mediator and give its details in the contract or on its website: the agency’s own mediator is the one to contact, and it is free for you. If the agency is in a different EU country from yours, your national European Consumer Centre handles it. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed for good on 20 July 2025: references to it still found elsewhere on the web lead nowhere.
